Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

This policy explains how DailyToolsAI handles information when you use our website and tools. It's written to be plain and specific rather than generic legal boilerplate — if anything is unclear, contact us.

Overview

DailyToolsAI ("we," "us," "our") provides free, browser-based utility tools for PDF, construction, finance, calculators, media and fonts at dailytoolsai.com. This policy covers what happens to your information when you visit our site or use our tools.

The short version: most of our tools run entirely in your browser, so the files you work with are not uploaded to our servers. We don't require an account to use any tool, and we collect the minimum information needed to operate and improve the site.

How your files are handled

Wherever technically possible, DailyToolsAI tools process your files locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. This means the PDF, image, or other file you upload into a tool is read, processed, and downloaded back to you without being transmitted to our servers.

Because of this, for tools that process entirely client-side, we do not see, store, or have any access to the content of your files.

A small number of tools may require server-side processing to function (for example, where a conversion needs software that can't run in a browser). Where that's the case, files are processed temporarily to generate your result and are automatically deleted shortly afterward — they are never used for any purpose beyond producing your output, and are not reviewed by any person.

Information we collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Usage data — standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate location (derived from IP address), pages visited, and how you interact with the site. This helps us understand how the site is used and fix problems.
  • Contact form information — if you use our contact form or email us, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Cookies and local storage — small pieces of data stored in your browser to remember preferences and support basic site functionality. See the section below for details.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or health information) through normal use of our tools.

Cookies & analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for essential site functionality and to understand aggregate usage patterns — for example, which tools are most used, so we know where to focus improvements. Any analytics we use is configured to avoid collecting personally identifying details beyond standard technical/usage data described above.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect some non-essential site features, but our tools will continue to work.

Third-party services

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate the site:

  • Google Fonts — we load the Inter typeface from Google's font service, which may receive your IP address as part of loading the font file.
  • Hosting infrastructure — our website is served by our hosting provider, which processes standard web request data (such as IP address) as part of delivering the site to you.

These third parties have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. We do not sell your personal information to any third party, and we do not share the content of files you process through our client-side tools with anyone, because we never receive that content in the first place.

Data retention

Files processed server-side (see "How your files are handled" above) are deleted automatically after your result is generated, typically within a short window measured in minutes to hours. Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry. Aggregate, non-identifying usage data may be retained longer to help us understand trends over time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict how we use it, and the right to object to certain processing. If you'd like to exercise any of these rights — for example, regarding information submitted through our contact form — reach out via our contact page and we'll respond promptly.

Children's privacy

DailyToolsAI is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
